Welcome
In the late 1970's I was a healthy young man in the prime of my life. This came to an abrupt end when ,while working as a 'rough-neck' on an off-shore oil-exploration rig I injured my spine whilst preparing the rig for evacuation from a oncoming cyclone. The crane driver I was working with let the load, I was directing him to lift, slip. I was evacuated on the next helicopter back to Darwin with injuries to my lower spine.
I could no longer work but the company sacked me! I got a lawyer. He got me absolutely NOTHING (a long story;suffice to say he got paid off to stuff-up my case). I have been on a disability pension EVER SINCE. To say the accident ruined my life is an understatement. The oil industry has almighty clout and doesn't care for morals. They make billions yet, after ruining lives they simply use that clout to ensure they are not held RESPONSIBLE.
I now have a young daughter who I look after completely by myself. We struggle every day. We have been trodden down. Will you help by donating to those of us whose life has been ruined? Donating is good for you, just ask God. He loves those helping others.
